Lexington, Kentucky – October 31, 2012 – The live webcast of the Alltech National Horse Show has been temporarily knocked off the air because of storm related power outages at the home base of LiveStream, the company that feeds the live webcast to the internet.

Nearly 8.2 million homes and businesses are without power as a result of the brutal storm that struck much of the East on Monday and Tuesday.

“LiveStream is working hard to get power restored,” said David Orlando of ShowNet.biz, the producers of the live feed from the Alltech National Horse Show. “We are dealing with a power outage of epic proportions, affecting almost a third of the nation, but we are doing all we can to make sure the webcast is restored as soon as possible. The ShowNet website has not been affected,” he added.

Live results from the show are still available at www.ShowNet.biz.

The Alltech National Horse Show runs through Sunday at the Alltech Arena at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky.
