West Palm Beach, Florida (May 2, 2011) – Many eager Florida dressage competitors awaited the announcement of the 2011 Shadow Trailer Give-Away at this past weekend Wellington Classic Dressage Show in West Palm Beach, Florida. A generous donation from Del-Raton Trailer Sales and Shadow Trailer Inc., Florida dressage competitors waited all season to see if they would be the lucky winner of the 2011 Shadow bumper-pull trailer.
FEI Dressage Rider and Trainer Bill McMullin happily accepted his new trailer. “The last group of horses just left this morning for Massachusetts and I wanted to make sure I made it to the show for the drawing. I have had a great season with my horses and clients, but it all went so fast. Winning this trailer is a great way to wrap up the Florida season!”
McMullin who resides in Wellington during the winter season and Stoughton, Massachusetts in the summer months rode Kim Quinlivan’s 9 year old mare, Rosabella, at the IHS Derby and Jim Brandon dressage shows. “What a great surprise. I want to thank the dressage show managing partners for organizing such great shows and Del-Raton Trailer Sales for making the trailer give-away possible,” McMullin added.
The beautiful 2011 Shadow Trailer is a two horse straight-load bumper-pull with a dressing room. The Shadow Trailer boasts upgraded wheels, tires, brakes and axle designed for larger horses. Also included are additional windows with a drop-down feature for added ventilation. All Shadow Trailers come standard fully lined and insulated for your horses comfort. To top off the trailer, a wireless trailer camera with color monitor and night vision was donated by Del-Raton Trailer Sales and I.C.U. Trailer Cameras, LLC for added trailering security.
“At all of the shows, people were excited about the drawing to win the trailer. We had over 1,100 entries by the end of the season,” said Andrew Parsons, Director of Sales at Del-Raton Trailer Sales in Delray Beach, Florida. “Many dressage riders from all over Florida purchase Shadow Trailers from me and this was our way to give back. I really enjoyed working with Noreen O’Sullivan and John Flanagan, Managing Partners of Wellington Classic Dressage, Gold Coast Dressage Association and recently added International Horse Sport Show Series.”
Competitors were automatically entered into the drawing when they signed up for one of the three dressage series shows throughout the winter season. The trailer was on display at many of the Gold Coast Dressage Association, International Horse Sport and Wellington Classic Dressage Shows. Those competitors present at the Wellington Classic Dressage Challenge III Show had a chance to win the trailer.
