The Women’s Horse Industry Network is pleased to announce a partnership with Speaking of Horses TV. Speaking of Horses TV CEO Wayne Williams has long been a supporter of the WHIN and WHIN’s CEO Catherine Masters has been a longtime supporter of Speaking of Horses.

They will both use their talents to develop and promote the equine industry on television. Williams is currently putting together a pilot using some of the exhibitors at the upcoming 3rd Annual Business Networking Expo being held in Nashville, Tennessee in October. The pilot is for a new program that is being pitched to HRTV. Williams already has one program on the network that will begin airing in the Fall.  Plans are to show the pilot at the event in Nashville. Williams will also be an exhibitor at the event in Nashville and the host of the WHINNY awards.

Williams and his production crew will tape all of the events at The 3rd Annual Business Networking Expo, including the 1st Annual WHINNY awards and produce a one hour special that will be broadcast on a delayed basis. The show will air on HRTV’s “Where in the Horse World Are We”. Broadcast dates will be posted on the WHIN’s website as soon as they are available.

“As a former TV producer, I know the value of getting the Women’s Horse Industry and its members on television. It’s the very best way to market their products and services and Wayne and I are working hard to make that happen. Wayne is a super capable broadcaster, someone who really cares about the equine industry and I am very pleased to partner with him and his company. It will be great to shine the light on so many wonderful people in the horse world,” states Masters.

Speaking of Horses has a pretty substantial viewer base right now with shows being seen on the following cable and internet locations or a regular weekly basis: Dish Network TV Channel 404 HRTV coming in the fall, and Blue Highways TV on many Comcast Networks which goes into nearly 5 million homes with 50,000 horse related viewers weekly. It can also been seen on BLT-TV-6 on Rural Cable TV in Tri State area of Tennessee, Kentucky and North Carolina with a 100,000 home horse related viewership and on Cable Access and PBS Systems in the Midwest on a weekly basis.  It’s also On Demand at www.speakingofhorses.com with weekly new shows and features with over 7,000 viewers each month. And, it’s just starting to air on Double Dan TV and webcasting in Australia on a twice a month basis.

“I believe deeply in the horse world and all that horses can and will continue to do for humans. The Women’s Horse Industry is a great way to interact and learn and work together for the welfare of all horses and horse people. I am really looking forward to producing something really special for WHIN and showcasing some of the people who are doing so much for the horse world,” states Williams.

The Women’s Horse Industry Network is largest and most active business network in the world for women working in the horse industry. Started only two years ago, the group has more than 750 members in the US, Canada, UK and Australia.
