About Thomas Baur: Thomas Baur is an international horse show organizer from Germany. For the 2014 season he joined the Equestrian Sport Productions team as Dressage Show Organizer for the Adequan Global Dressage Festival. Baur was brought to Wellington to provide the current world-class equestrian facility staff his expertise on international Dressage and Para-Dressage shows. Baur is a member on the FEI Dressage Committee and is a member of the board of the International Equestrian Organizer’s Alliance. The list of high-profile Dressage and Para-Dressage shows Baur has been a part of include Vienna Masters; Internationales Maimarkt-Turnier in Mannheim, Germany; and Pappas Amadeus Horse Indoors in Austria. During the Adequan Global Dressage Festival, Baur works with Show Manager Lloyd Landkamer to help improve upon the already applauded Dressage Shows. Baur is very excited about the CDIO3* held in February 2014 which will be a testing for the final format of the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto.
About Bridget Kroger: Bridget Kroger is a LTC US Army (Retired) veteran and Wounded Warrior. Bridget is a graduate of the United States Military Academy, a 24-year veteran of the United States Army, she completed two tours in Iraq, and is and a life-long equestrian. Kroger grew up on a small farm in Kentucky where her father was a horse trader. Kroger enlisted in the Army right out of high school and was asked to apply to West Point Prep. She entered West Point in 1992, graduated in 1996 as a Human Factors Engineer, and retired as a LTC with 24 years of service on May 31, 2013. Kroger started the Wounded Warrior’s Equestrian Program (WWEP) to give more job options to horses, to connect warriors with the equestrian sport, and provide a therapeutic means to all military veterans. The Wounded Warrior Equestrian Program is a non-profit organization dedicated to giving Veterans and Horses a new lease on life. The WWEP support’s Therapeutic Riding Facilities and Horse Rescue farms across the United States, providing rehabilitative services to Wounded Veterans of all Services. This nationwide network of therapeutic riding program providers and horse rescues was founded in 2010 by Bridget Kroger, LTC US Army (Retired). Once a month the Dressage Radio Show becomes the Para-Equestrian Show Hosted by Lindsay McCall, of the United States Para-Equestrian Association, focusing on international FEI discipline Para-Dressage. Although Para-Dressage is the main event, listeners have the opportunity to learn more about the skillful U.S. Para-Driving Team, the Para-Reining discipline, Para-Vaulting, and the future of Para-Jumping. The para-equestrian dressage show will feature a line-up of guests including Olympians, Paralympians, trainers, coaches, professionals, amateur riders, young riders, and equine enthusiasts. The intention of the radio show is to educate, inform, and entertain listeners on the para-equestrian Dressage discipline.
