The Lineup!

The Atlanta Summer Classic kicks off with the USHJA’s Emerging Athletes Program June 9 through 12. The Zone 4 Town Hall meeting takes place on June 11 as well as the “Just Ask” Clinic with renowned horsewomen, trainers and judges Sue Ashe and Susie Schoellkopf.

There’s a class for everyone at the Atlanta Summer Classic! For the jumpers, Week I opens up with the $15,000 Open Jumper Welcome Class, the $5,000 Futures Class and the $35,000 UlcerGard Grand Prix.

Before getting into Week II, USHJA Zone 4 Clinic Series is pleased to offer a Horsemanship Clinic with respected horseman and USEF “R” Judge Pat Bostwick on June 16.

This is a free clinic offered to USHJA Zone 4 members.

Pat Bostwick has trained horses and riders on the National stage and also at the local level. Pat feels lucky to have worked with and for some great horsemen and women over the years. His philosophy is that you can always learn something new. The clinic will focus on the basics, foundation, and maintenance of a good working position for Hunters, Jumpers, and Equitation.

The Clinic will be filled on a first come first served basis with 30 open positions. Auditors are welcome and encouraged.   To reserve a spot and schedule ride times, contact clinic coordinator Janet McCarrol at 228-669-2687 or gcclassic@aol.com.
