The Dixon Oval: Where Disciplines Meet

Devon, PA – May 25, 2026 – On Sunday, the Dixon Oval brought together a range of equestrian traditions, highlighting the Devon Horse Show & Country Fair as a shared stage for multiple riding and driving disciplines. The day began with the annual Devon Horse Show Carriage Pleasure Drive through the historic streets of Devon, concluding with final judging in the Dixon Oval. The evening culminated with the highly anticipated Devon Arena Eventing.
First Tricolor on First Trip to Devon
Georgina Jewell experienced a lot of firsts on Sunday afternoon, claiming her first Devon blue ribbon and Devon championship ribbon, all on her first-ever trip to Devon.
Jewell not only claimed the championship title in the Children’s Jumper Division aboard her own Conny 424, but she also earned reserve championship honors with Jet Show Stable’s Kybalia SMH/SVN.
“It was really surprising, since the classes here were so competitive,” said Jewell of her first Devon championship.

From St. David’s Church to the Dixon Oval, these majestic carriages made their way through the historic Devon area, honoring a legacy over a century in the making.
