Theault Becomes “Official Horsebox” of USEF

Lexington, KY – An agreement between the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) and Theault America, Inc. has made Theault the “Official Horsebox of the USEF.” The agreement states that, among other things, USEF Members who purchase Theault products via the USEF Member Perks program will receive an upgrade package, and that Theault will provide Horseboxes for use by U.S. teams before and during championships and tours. Theault’s sponsorship will continue through December, 2014.

“Theault’s global motto is ‘Shared Passion,'” says Kevin Blake, Director of Theault America. “We have a deep rooted love of horses and equestrian sport throughout our company, many of us being owners or competitors ourselves, drawing on a depth of equine experience and knowledge. Therefore, it is very exciting for us to be able to partner with and support the United States Equestrian Federation not just financially but out in the field, getting involved in a variety of projects that benefit the horses and riders directly.”

During the recent Olympic Games in London that “shared passion” was on display. Theault provided transport for U.S. Team Horses and prior to the games they helped create this entertaining video in support of the U.S. Dressage Team.

“We are very happy to have Theault as an Official Sponsor,” says USEF CEO John Long. “Their assistance in helping organize our Olympic transport was much appreciated and indicates our cooperative relationship. We look forward to growing this relationship in the years ahead.”

Theault was established in Normandy, France in 1924 and in 1950 focused all of its attentions on specializing in horse transportation. Since then, Theault has become legendary within Europe for its innovation, attention to detail, quality and durability. The company retains the successful ethos that marrying traditional craftsmanship with new technologies and materials is the best way to improve efficiency, practicality, safety, and ride quality for both horse and rider. From a modern 200,000 sq ft factory, one located just a mile from Emile Theault’s original hillside workshop in Avranches, Theault researchers and developers have been busy adapting European designs and creating U.S. specific models. The first of those models, the Morpheus horse van, is now available stateside.
