Morawa, September 7th 2025 — The Strzegom Autumn Show has come to an end, and on Sunday we witnessed thrilling competitions in the young horse classes. This was one of the last opportunities of the season to qualify for the prestigious Young Horse World Championships in Lion d’Angers. Future stars of international eventing showcased their potential and readiness to compete for the highest goals in the coming years.
Four-Star Class Winners
Leading from the first day and the dressage phase, the top spot in the 4* competition was claimed by Korntawat Samran from Thailand on B.Grimm Carouzo Bois Marotin, finishing with a score of 37.8 penalty points. Second place went to Peter T. Flarup (Denmark) on Gamegirl Impe (40.0 pts), and third place to Victor Levecque (France) on Climaine de Cacao (46.2 pts).
In the 8- and 9-year-old horse category, Michael Jung (Germany) on Fischersolution II emerged victorious with 35.2 penalty points. The multiple Olympic medalist once again demonstrated that his horses have excellent development potential and a promising future in eventing. It is worth noting that Fischersolution II is a horse of Polish breeding.
Three-Star Class Winners
In the CCI3*-S competition, Belgian rider Lara De Liedekerke-Meier on Call Me Señorita claimed first place with 28.3 penalty points. Second place was taken by Michael Jung on Safran (33.8 pts), and third by Australian rider Katja Weimann on Jaxcin L.V. (36.1 pts).
The horse Safran, which took second place, is also of Polish breeding. It is gratifying that the Olympic gold medalist, Michael Jung, achieved top positions in the 3* and 4* competitions at the Strzegom Autumn Show riding horses of Polish breeding.
Lara De Liedekerke-Meier certainly marked the international 3* competition as a success. The title of best 7-year-old horse in this class went to Helios, also ridden by her.
Polish Rider on the Podium in the Two-Star Class
In the CCI2*-S class, Michael Jung on Cloud Nine took first place with 25.8 penalty points. Second place went to Janneke Boonzaaijer (Netherlands) on Levana of Jamaica – 31.7 pts, and third place to Polish rider Joanna Pawlak on Petit Fusil – 33.7 pts.
Once again, we witnessed excellent collaboration between young horses and Lara De Liedekerke-Meier. The title of best 6-year-old horse in the 2* class went to Tara van het Leliehof, ridden by the Belgian rider.
Sporting Excitement until the Very End
During the September competition in Strzegom, riders from all over Europe delivered a show full of sporting emotion, precision, and determination. Perfectly prepared courses, a high level of sport, and an international field made the Strzegom Autumn Show one of the most exciting events on this year’s eventing calendar.
To conclude the season, Strzegom invites everyone to the Strzegom October Festival, taking place from October 2–5. It will be the last chance this year to see the top riders compete live at the Morawa racecourse in the comprehensive horse eventing competitions.
