Lexington, Ky. – The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) Hackney Committee has selected the six competitions at which heel measurements will be required in Roadster Pony and Hackney Roadster Pony Championship classes as defined by USEF Hackney and Roadster Division rules. The mandatory heel measurements will be taken from the first-place and fourth-place ponies in the following competitions in 2016:
- Rock Creek – Louisville, Ky. (June 7-11)
- Blue Ridge Classic – Fletcher, N.C. (July 26-30)
- Kentucky State Fair – Louisville, Ky. (August 20-27)
- All American Horse Classic – Indianapolis, Ind. (September 6-10)
- Mid-America Mane Event – Springfield, Ill. (October 20-23)
- UPHA/American Royal National Championship – Kansas City, Mo. (November 7-12)
Exhibitors, owners, and trainers of Roadster or Hackney Roadster ponies, are encouraged to review USEF rules HK133.4 and RD114.2 for further information about the requirement.
Information regarding these measurements will be sent to competition managers and stewards prior to their respective competitions.
