Courtney King Dye Clinic

May 3rd and 5th at Rolling Hills Equestrian Center, Versailles, Kentucky

Courtney King Dye is a USDF Certified Dressage Instructor and USDF Gold Medalist based out of Millbrook, New York in the summer and Wellington, Florida in the winter. As a competitor she represented the United States in the 2007 World Cup in Las Vegas, the 2008 World Cup in The Netherlands, and the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Courtney is a graduate of Columbia University in New York and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in literature.

A native of Michigan, Courtney has been riding since she was 9 years old. At 17, she became a working student for 2-time Olympian Lendon Gray. Courtney’s dressage education includes 6 years as Assistant Trainer to Lendon Gray, several prolonged training trips with Conrad Schumacher and Klaus Balkenhol in Germany, and countless clinics with a multitude of trainers such as Henk van Bergen and Debbie McDonald. She has also spent extended periods training with Steffen Peters in California before major competitions. Courtney has a strong belief in continuing her dressage education.

Courtney’s show record includes a long history of championships and honors, including many USDF Regional Championships from Training Level to Grand Prix, National Championships, Horse of the Year Awards, Year-End Championships, and the Chronicle of the Horse’s Dressage Equestrian of the Year Award. Courtney is known for her ability to show horses of all different types at nearly every level at the same show and come away with the lion’s share of blue ribbons.
