Saugerties, NY (June 5, 2012) – Draper Equine Therapy is proud to announce they will present the “Best Foot Forward” Award during Lendon Gray’s Youth Dressage Festival, July 6-8, 2012 at HITS on the Hudson. Draper is known for sponsoring the Best Foot Forward award at many prestigious show circuits, where they recognize riders who exhibit outstanding attitude and effort towards putting their best foot forward.
“Here at Draper, we’re dedicated to giving back to those who possess a positive manner both in the show ring and out. It is a behavior in which anyone can choose to project that enables a ripple effect of ‘good vibes’ to be passed on,” said Kat Wojtylak, Product Manager of Draper Equine Therapy. “’Inspire and lead by example.’ This is a line taken from our Draper Diddy’s which not only helps us focus on who we are, but it’s something that we are excitedly looking forward to find and reward.”
Grand Prix show jumper Michael Tokaruk, a Draper Equine Therapy Advisory Board member, dominated the Germantown Charity Horse Show Grand Prix, placing first, second and fifth in the class.
Germantown, TN (June 14, 2011) – Grand Prix show jumper Michael Tokaruk, a Draper Equine Therapy Advisory Board member, dominated the Grand Prix ring at the Germantown Charity Horse Show in Germantown, Tennessee. In the $25,000 Grand Prix, Tokaruk placed first on Roger Rabbit owned by Castle Point Farm LLC, second on his own horse Lord Byron and fifth on Gama Righter Z, owned by Peggy Jones of Germantown.
“This is the second time I have won the Germantown Charity Horse Show Grand Prix,” Tokaruk said. “The first time was on Lord Byron in 2005. Germantown has always been a fun event and a highlight on the local calendar.”
Tokaruk added that the excitement of the Germantown Grand Prix was topped off by unpredictable weather. “The weather was very hot all week and severe storms rolled through just in time for the jump-off to begin,” he said. “The rain started when I was on my second jump-off horse, Roger Rabbit, and really opened up for my last horse Lord Byron. We didn’t let it faze us, however, and the weather provided a very dramatic ending. The horses were all fantastic and I am thrilled to have a nice string of mounts to show in the grand prix right now.”

Sponsored by Draper Equine Therapy, makers of therapeutic horse and rider products featuring the innovative “smart fiber” textile Celliant, each winner will receive a pair of Draper Equine Therapy Recovery Wraps, an Anti-Sweat Sheet and Saddle Pad for their horse, along with a pair of Draper Body Therapy Socks and a t-shirt for themselves.

The 2011 Winter Equestrian Festival, held January 12 to April 3 at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center, is a world-class show circuit that attracts top horses, riders and trainers from all around the world. “The winners of the ‘Put Your Best Foot Forward’ Award are going to have the opportunity to really try the products out by feeling and watching the results,” Wojtylak said. “We have riders with feet problems that put on our socks and call us the next day to tell us their pain is gone. We have one rider who says he will never take off our socks because he is pain free for the first time in five years.”
