Staller Is Like Airbnb for Horses
New App & Website Makes Finding & Renting Stalls Simple for Equestrians
PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL – December 26, 2016 – Staller is a new web and mobile-based solution that enables horse owners to rent stalls at, and near, equestrian competitions in the United States. The new sharing economy offering was co-founded by members of the Ferrando and the Godoy families, who are originally from Venezuela and now call South Florida home. The two families are active participants in the equestrian community and with a deep understanding of the market. The website, www.stallerapp.com, and the free application available to download at the App Store are available now.
Whether you need a stall for a night or a full service equestrian facility for an extended period of time, Staller offers a streamlined process by connecting those looking to stable their mounts to unique boarding options at any price point. “Staller is like Airbnb for horses,” said co-founder Arturo Ferrando (28), an accomplished show jumping competitor with a strong business background. “We saw that brokers were the only option for renters in the market and we wanted to offer more boarding choices and visibility. Staller aims to give transparency to this market and also facilitate the process of stall rental.”
According to 2015 statistics, there are 9.2 million horses and 4.6 million citizens in the horse business in the U.S. “We know riders who want to come to the Winter Equestrian Festival but they don’t necessarily want to commit to renting a stall for the entire season,” explained co-founder Pablo Jimenez Godoy (24), a tech entrepreneur who grew up riding and showing. “Thousands of horses from around the world come to Wellington, Florida for the 12 weeks of competitions. This doesn¹t include all the other horses that come to South Florida during the winter, and they need stalls. This will give the renter options. We have decided to start with this market but the goal will be to expand to include offerings from all the states around the country in the months to come.”
Staller, available in English, Spanish, French and Italian, allows the user to search by location and price point, see photos and learn about the facility, location and availability and then can book online with a credit card.
To make for an even better experience, Staller will provide an e-commerce portal for purchase of products and services in relation to the equine industry, including feed, supplements, veterinary care, equipment and supplies. For further information, go to www.stallerapp.com.
