The Billings, MT BLM Field Office has opened the proposed land use plan (LUP) amendment for 30-day public protest to all members of the public who commented on the Pryor RMP (2022) and EA (2023). The protest period closes on December 16, 2024.
Though the entire Environmental Assessment has been released, only protests on the proposed land use plan amendment are being considered. After the plan amendment process is complete, BLM will begin issuing decisions on the implementation aspects of the project (HMAP, AML, and roundup plan). These decisions are anticipated to occur sometime in early 2025.
The Cloud Foundation is currently preparing public protest comments on the Proposed Amendment. We will provide updates with potential talking points soon.
