Princeton Show Jumping Announces Calendar of USEF Rated Horse Shows and Special Events

Skillman, NJ – February 14, 2019 – Princeton Show Jumping invites you to experience show jumping at its finest during the 2019 season. This beautiful venue just north of Princeton, New Jersey is offering 10 Weeks of USEF Rated Horse Shows in 2019.  Amenities at Princeton include the very best all-weather footing, International course design, and friendly efficient management, all coupled with wonderful VIP seating and Exhibitor parties. The Princeton area offers top hotels, restaurants, live theater, art galleries, and museums, as well as golf and other activities for the whole family.

Each of the 10 Horse Shows offer special events along with our grassroots USHJA Outreach classes that are part of the Princeton Equestrian League series.  The Princeton Equestrian League is comprised of over 70 shows to be able to qualify for the PEL Finals held at Princeton Show Jumping in the first week of October 2019.

The Spring Classics

  • April 17-21 Princeton AA Spring Classic I
  • April 24-28 Princeton AA Spring Classic II

Start off your spring outdoor showing at Princeton with two consecutive weeks featuring AA Rated Hunters, Equitation and Jumpers.  The second week also features a USHJA International Hunter Derby and a USEF National Standard Grand Prix.

  • May 9-12 USEF Horse Show with Level 5 Jumpers, including a USEF Grand Prix along with USHJA outreach Hunters and Equitation

A perfect show to bring along the whole barn.

One-Day Spring USEF Rated Horse Shows
featuring competition for Hunters, Jumpers, and Equitation

  • May 18th C Rated
  • June 9th USEF B Rated
  • June 23rd USEF B Rated

These one-day USEF rated shows offer a great opportunity to show near home over nice courses with great footing and beautiful jumps.

The Princeton Summer Horse Shows

  • July 17-21 The Princeton Classic Preview AA Hunters, Equitation, and Jumpers
  • July 23-27 The Princeton Summer Classic WCHR Hunters, Equitation. and Jumpers
  • July 30 – August 4 The Princeton Classic Finale AA Hunters, Equitation, and Jumpers

For Summer of 2019, Princeton Show Jumping will offer three consecutive weeks of A rated horse shows featuring a World Championship Hunter Rider Show Week II with a USHJA International Hunter Derby.  Building on the overwhelming success of last year’s Princeton Summer Classic, we look forward to a wonderful series offering fantastic prizes, VIP, special events, and parties, as well as Hunter Derbies and Grand Prix Show Jumping. Experience Princeton at its best!

August Zone 1 and 2 Jumper Team Championships

  • August 21-25 USEF Level 4 Jumpers, along with the Zone Team Championships and USHJA Outreach Hunters and Equitation

This show promises to be lots of fun with top level competition as teams vie for the Championship in USEF Zones 1 and 2.

Princeton Fall Festival of Show Jumping

Experience Princeton in the fall with four great weeks of Show Jumping. Each week features something special in addition to a full schedule of classes, exhibitor parties, and VIP.

Week 1

  • September 18-22 USEF Level 4 Jumpers and USHJA Outreach Hunters and Equitation

This show also features the popular Princeton Cup, a three-round competition for adult and amateur jumpers offering over $10,000 in prize money.

Week 2

  • September 25-29 USEF Level 5 Jumpers

Featuring the $100,000 Princeton Young Jumper Championship. North America’s best 4, 5, 6, & 7-year-old horses compete for top prize money.  Included in the Championship is the Corinthian Division for Young Jumpers who wish to compete over slightly lower fence heights. Week 3

  • October 2-6 USEF Level 5 Jumpers

This show features The Princeton Equestrian League Finals and the 2019 Year End Awards Party. Always a wonderful week of competition with exhibitors attending from across the northeast to compete for great Year End Award prizes.

Week 4

  • October 10-13 USEF Level 3 Jumpers and Outreach Hunters and Equitation

Stay for the final week of competition and enjoy the wonderful fall weather, excellent foot, and great courses.
