Las Vegas, Nevada – Blenheim EquiSports, a leading equestrian event management company based in California, has gone all in, partnering with JustWorld International for its upcoming Las Vegas event.  JustWorld is a not-for-profit, humanitarian organization working as a catalyst for positive change in the developing world by helping impoverished children.

Blenheim EquiSports and JustWorld International will launch their partnership at the 2011 CSI2*-W Las Vegas National, featuring $130,000 in prize money, held November 2 to 6 at the South Point Hotel and Casino.  Several fundraising and awareness events will be held, including the signature JustWorld Horseless Show, which sees human competitors jumping obstacles on foot.  Spectators can bet on great entertainment as they watch competitors race over a course of sponsored obstacles in the South Point Equestrian Arena concourse in their own ‘indoor’ event.

“We see tremendous opportunity to expand JustWorld’s outreach to the equestrian community on the west coast by developing a partnership,” said Melissa Brandes-Braunstein, Senior Vice-President of Marketing for Blenheim EquiSports.  “We look forward to a fabulous mix of events at the Las Vegas National.  It will be fun for all, all for a great cause.”

A JustWorld High Jump competition will also be held during the Las Vegas National with qualifiers taking place on Saturday afternoon.  The High Jump Final will see the top eight competitors compete under the bright lights during the $50,000 Las Vegas World Cup Grand Prix on Saturday night.  The stakes will climb higher and higher as the bar is raised to determine the winner.  The current JustWorld High Jump record is 1.65m, held by Rider Ambassador Alejandro Karolyi of Venezuela.

Blenheim EquiSports has also committed to hosting three more JustWorld Horseless Horse Shows at its events in California during the 2012 season, helping to raise awareness and funds for JustWorld’s project sites in Cambodia, Brazil, Guatemala, and Honduras.

“Any organization that selflessly devotes itself to helping others in need is worthy of support from a group that has the incredible privileges of not only riding but also competing, as many equestrians do,” noted Brandes-Braunstein.  “We look forward to expanding the partnership in 2012 by hosting additional Horseless Horse Shows, as well as giving JustWorld visibility through signage at our events, in our newsletter, and on our website.”

With show jumping riders around the world signing up to become JustWorld Rider Ambassadors, Executive Director Jessica Newman has mobilized some of the sport’s biggest names towards supporting JustWorld’s projects.  There are currently more than 450 Rider Ambassadors from 37 different countries, ranging from nine-year-old pony riders to Olympic medalists, who help bring attention to JustWorld International’s cause and support its project sites.

Founded in 2003, JustWorld International raises awareness and funds in the equestrian community to support humanitarian projects that benefit impoverished communities and children in the developing world.  Cooperating with local partners, JustWorld International implements sustainable, culturally sensitive education, health and vocational projects.  For more information on JustWorld International and its upcoming fundraising events please visit www.justworldinternational.org.
