100 Days till FEI European Championships in Eventing

The big countdown has started before the most important equestrian show of the year: FEI European Championships in Eventing.

Strzegom in Lower Silesia will be the host of the event that is run every two years. Such a prestigious competition is taking place in Poland for the first time. The introduction for the sport challenge will be opening ceremony at the Pergola near Centennial Hall in Wroclaw on 15th August at 20:45.

“The ceremony will be the great opportunity to present all the national teams to vast publicity as well as to welcome the participants of this great sport event,” said Marcin Konarski, Event Director.

After the presentation there will be a special multimedia fountain show. Accompanied by music and lights the equestrian relating art visualization will be performed.

“There’s the biggest equestrian event in Europe coming soon. For four days on Morawa Hippodrome top European eventing riders and horses will compete,” added Marcin Konarski.

Eventing, also called equestrian triathlon, consists of three different tests which the rider is taking on the same horse.  It starts with dressage test followed by cross – the race with the fences taken in high speed canter – that’s the most exciting part. The whole competition finishes with show jumping test.

FEI European Championships in Eventing in 250 Days

FEI European Championships in Eventing are coming closer and it’s only 250 days left. An online tickets sale, volunteers’ recruitment and process of granting press accreditation have already started. We are more than happy to inform that the Official Partner of the event and vehicles provider is Hertz Company, leader in Rent a Car business.

FEI European Championships in Eventing for the first time will take place in Poland. They are set in odd years in Olympic cycle, alternately with World Equestrian Games and Olympic Games. Last FEI European Championships in Eventing took place in Scottish Blair Castle in 2015 and were broadcasted to 96 countries in the world. The coverage was seen by 35mln viewers.

Tickets for FEI European Championships in Eventing Available Now

No more than 350 days left till an exceptional moment in the history of Polish equestrian. 17th-20th August 2017, on Morawa Hippodrome FEI European Championships in Eventing will take place. Tickets are available now!

Online tickets sale will take place through TIXER.PL platform. You can find the link to the purchase platform on www.Strzegom2017.pl website. There are three categories of tickets available in the open sale for visitors:

THE CATEGORIES OF TICKETS

Category I – admission to the showground with access to stands and exhibitions area, cross country, catering area, shows area; the ticket does not guarantee a seat at grandstands – access to grandstands only if seats available.

Category II – admission to the showground with a seat at the grandstand booked – also access to the cross country course, catering, shows and exhibitions zones.

Category Premium – admission to the showground with the access to the cross country course, catering, shows and exhibitions zones and VIP Marquee; the ticket does not guarantee a seat at grandstands or a seat in VIP Marquee – access only if seats available. The ticket provides the access to the restaurant in the VIP Marquee (meals and drinks not included). It is recommended to buy an additional ticket for a grandstand.

The tickets in specified categories are available for particular days as well as in season tickets option for all days of Championships. The number of seats on the grandstand and available season tickets, because of the cozy character of facilities and safety reasons, is limited.

Every ticket will have a unique number and will allow a single entry for one person. All the tickets bought online will have the same design. The online system allows a single purchase of no more than 50 tickets.

Why is it worth to buy tickets now? The system of sale of the tickets for European Championships in Eventing is based on the rule ‘first come, first served’ what also means ‘the sooner, the cheaper’. The tickets are divided into a few price categories: the price is based on the choice of the place, as well as the time of purchase.
