Wellington, FL – February 14, 2021 – Week five of the 2021 Adequan® Global Dressage Festival (AGDF) concluded on Sunday, February 14, with another victory for Canada’s Brittany Fraser-Beaulieu and All In in the FEI Grand Prix Freestyle CDI-W, presented by Helgstrand Dressage.

Personal best scores for every big tour class winner in the FEI Grand Prix and Grand Prix Special CDI 3* presented by CabanaCoast, and FEI Grand Prix and Grand Prix Freestyle CDI-W, presented by Helgstrand Dressage were recorded this week. Fraser-Beaulieu and Brittany Fraser and Marc-Andre Beaulieu’s 2005 KWPN gelding by Tango added to that tally, beating their personal best with a 79.330%, while earning two scores above 80% from judges at both M and B.

“I’m so happy,” began Fraser-Beaulieu. “This is like a dream come true, to be back here with a personal best. At the five star and the Nations Cup last year we had great rides, and after such a long break you hope that it’s going to be the same, but after 10 months I was a little nervous. You want to keep those scores and keep hitting personal bests, and All In has come out this season and really proven that he knows his job so well. He tries his heart out for me every time we go down centerline, and I just have to hang on for the ride. I’m ecstatic with him.”

Fraser-Beaulieu rode to a freestyle created by Joost Peters, with Celine Dion music beginning and concluding the ride. “Joost Peters made new music for me for the Nations Cup last year,” she explained, “so this is only the second time I’ve ridden to this new freestyle. I love Celine Dion. My husband is French, I live in Montreal now, and I love the song, so I asked him to incorporate it into the beginning and the end, and I think he did a great job.”

President of the Ground Jury, William Warren (USA), noted the quality of the day’s class and of the pair’s ride. “For me,” he said, “the entire class was a nice quality to judge. It challenged us judges to up our game and really get it right. Brittany hit a lot of strong technical points, and to really have a good freestyle, it has to be technically solid. Today everything was spot on. That really supports the artistic side of the freestyle, because if the ride has technical issues you have a problem. There was wonderful harmony between horse and rider.”

Wellington, FL – February 12, 2021 – Week five of the 2021 Adequan® Global Dressage Festival (AGDF) continued on Friday, February 12, at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (PBIEC) in Wellington, FL with a winning ride in the FEI Grand Prix CDI-W presented by Helgstrand Dressage for Brittany Fraser-Beaulieu (CAN) and All In.

Coming into the Global International Arena as the final combination of the day, Fraser-Beaulieu and the 2005 KWPN gelding by Tango, owned by Brittany Fraser and Marc-Andre Beaulieu, climbed to the top of the leaderboard with a final percentage of 73.696.

“I feel really relieved that we had such a good test today,” began Fraser-Beaulieu. “To be honest, I think this was probably our best Grand Prix to date. He was really on the aids and totally focused. Last year I started cutting my warmup to 15 minutes because he’s so big. I take him out and stretch him in the morning and then have a very short warmup. It’s working for us so far, and today he stayed totally with me through the whole ride. It was really incredible.”

Fraser-Beaulieu and the gelding earned their highest Grand Prix CDI-W score ever, after competing for the first time in over 10 months at AGDF 3. “I was a little nervous getting back into the ring,” she admitted. “I had such an amazing finish to last season, and I had almost 10 months of no showing, I was praying I was going to come out strong, but you never know! All In and I have such a long partnership and I know him so well. I’ve had him since he was five. We’ve shown everywhere, so as long as I know he’s feeling well, and I ride well, I know we’ll have a good test. I just had to get my confidence back and get the nerves out, and then I was able to ride more confidently today.”

After their performance, Fraser-Beaulieu has decided to set her sights on the FEI World Cup™ Finals, but will play the rest of the winter competition by ear, depending on All In.

“I just decided that I’m going to try for World Cup™ Finals,” she stated. “Things are a little up in the air still with the rest of the season. I’d like to do the five star, to get another [Grand Prix] Special under our belt for the Olympics. We are just going to take it show by show and see how All In feels. If he needs to go, we’ll go; if he feels tired, we will take a break. I’m pretty flexible. We are fortunate to have so many shows here, so we’ll take it as it comes.”

Wellington, FL – February 8, 2019 – The crowd at the “Friday Night Stars” at the Adequan® Global Dressage Festival (AGDF) enjoyed performances by top riders in the FEI Grand Prix Special and FEI Grand Prix Freestyle CDI5* on Friday, February 8, at Equestrian Village at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center in Wellington, FL. Brittany Fraser-Beaulieu (CAN) and All In, her 14-year-old KWPN gelding by Tango, won the FEI Grand Prix Freestyle CDI5*, presented by CaptiveOne Advisors, with a score of 76.520%.

“It’s very exciting, especially since this is probably going to be my last show until maybe September,” said Fraser-Beaulieu, who is expecting her first child in June. “I couldn’t ask for a better night, honestly. He was with me the whole time, and it’s probably one of the best feelings I’ve had on him out there. To end on a note like that, I’m pretty happy.”

Adrienne Lyle and Salvino Capture Special Win

In the FEI Grand Prix Special CDI5*, presented by Palm Beach Equine Clinic, Adrienne Lyle (USA) and Salvino, a 12-year-old Hanoverian stallion by Sandro Hit owned by Betsy Juliano LLC, won with a score of 73.574%.

“This is my first time I’ve ever done a special under the lights, so that was fun and different,” said Lyle of her ride. “It’s always a thrill riding under the lights here on Friday night at Global. I was so happy with Salvino. I’m so happy with his attitude. He’s just going out there, and he seems like he’s enjoying every minute of it.

“I just need to keep working on, as a rider, how to balance him and prepare him for every movement,” she continued. “He’s a very athletic horse with a ton of scope, which is wonderful, but I need to learn how to keep it all even and exactly where I want it throughout the whole test. It’s been a really fun journey so far.”
