Mason Phelps, Jr. to Host New Radio Show on W4CY

Wellington, FL – January 5, 2012 – Mason Phelps, Jr. the President of America’s leading equestrian public relations firm, Phelps Media Group, is pleased to announce that he will be the host of a new radio show on W4CY.com. The show will kick off on Thursday, January 12, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. Each Thursday, Phelps will host a one-hour session discussing the most important issues regarding the equestrian community, from exciting upcoming events, to the challenges and obstacles the sport faces.

A former Olympic equestrian, and one of the horse industry’s most important insiders, Phelps brings to the airwaves a vast, inside knowledge of everything equestrian, especially in South Florida. During his career as a rider, Phelps was named the U.S. Combined Training Association’s Rider of the Year, and founded, produced and managed the first International Jumping Derby in Newport, RI. He also founded and created the New England Horsemen’s Association Hunt Seat Medal, and was a major player in the formation of the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, FL.

As the President of the National Horse Show of America, Ltd., Phelps oversaw the rebirth of the highly successful Alltech National Horse Show in Lexington, KY, in November 2011. His most recent project is the World Dressage Masters in Wellington, FL and he also heads up the highly acclaimed and innovative equestrian news website, PhelpsSports.com, and is the President of the Alltech National Horse Show.
