Inaugural Tryon Fall Festival Begins Sept. 17

Tryon International Equestrian Center will host the TRYON FALL FESTIVAL from September 16th through October 26th, 2014, featuring over $800,000 in prize money with1 A rated and 5 AA rated hunter weeks and two Rolex/USEF Ranked Classes each week.

The highlight Grand Prix will be a $100,000 class on week 3 but every week will have a $25,000 welcome stake and a Grand Prix worth $30,000 on week 1 and on weeks 2, 4, 5 and 6 a $25,000 welcome and a $50,000 Grand Prix.

Hunters feature a weekly USHJA National Hunter Derby and USHJA pre Green incentive as well as all the usual top level hunter classes. There will be circuit championship awards in all divisions as well as many special awards during the Festival.

Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC) opened to great reviews in July.

TIEC has over 500 permanent horse stalls with fans and mats as well as secure tack rooms steps away from the 4 Olympic caliber sand rings and a large international arena with stadium seating and lighting.
