The international Jumping of Dinard (CSI5*) will be the must-not-miss event from 27 to July 30. Last-but-one 5* competition in France before the European Championships three weeks later in Göteborg, the Emerald Coast should be the rendezvous of preparation for the selected riders. There is no more spectacular event than a Derby. In Dinard, the public is always numerous and faithful to this class which is a combination of natural and traditional fences set on a 1000m long course. Whether neophyte or passionate about the discipline, the Derby Tropicana captivates every spectator. After 25 jumps (hedges, mounds, stretches of water, Brittany banks…), only one couple will go out like a hero in front of a jubilant public. GRAND PRIX ROLEX OF DINARD (CSI 5*), Sunday 30 July 2017 at 2.30pm
Who will succeed Christian Ahlmann (GER) and Cornado II, both winners of the 2016 Grand Prix of Dinard? After four days of competition, the Grand Prix, carrying this year the colors of Rolex, the iconic Swiss watch brand, will reward the best riders and horses of the world. A few days before the European championships, the Grand Prix Rolex of Dinard will be the opportunity for the riders to mark the spirits and for the public to admire its favorites. The spectators, always very numerous to attend this event, will be the witnesses of a sport confrontation of the highest level, with the 50 best pairs of the show representing 20 nations competing in this Grand Prix Rolex endowed with 300 000 euros.
