And Two for Niels Bruynseels

After a first victory in the CSI 4* Grand Prix of HUBSIDE JUMPING last July, the Belgian Niels Bruynseels wins again on the Côte d’Azur, in the Grand Prix of the CSI 3* of Grimaud. Associated with the mare Frenchy Vds, he is ahead of the Brazilian Marlon Modolo Zanotelli, also winner of a HUBSIDE Grand Prix (CSI 5* in August), in the saddle on Kalinka van de Nachtegaele, and the German Christian Ahlmann, current world thirteenth, at the helm of Solid Gold Z.

“Winning a Grand Prix is always nice, especially with a young mare! Frenchy is only ten years old and has very little experience at this level. She has only been with me for four months. So I’m really happy with her behavior tonight, in her first 3* Grand Prix! Winning here, among the best in the world, it’s not that easy but she did it very well! She’s naturally fast, but I have to manage her well in track because she has a lot of blood. This victory gives us confidence. I think that Frenchy will be a very high level mare. Tomorrow, I will be accompanied by Gancia de Muze for the 5* Grand Prix. I think the course will be difficult, technical, and with a fairly short time but Gancia is incredible and she has already won a lot. Tomorrow again, I will have to do my best to ride well (laughs)!”
