MatchnRide.com and The Challenge of the Americas a Perfect Pairing

Wellington, FL – March 7, 2013 – It was just natural for the co-founder of the horse classified website MatchnRide.com, Mary Ross, to support The Challenge of the Americas, an event benefiting breast cancer research.

Not only did she help create the MatchnRide website to help prospective horse owners find their perfect match, but Ross is also the organizer of The Challenge. The Challenge of the Americas (COTA) Presented by SSG Gloves returns for its 11th anniversary on March 9 at the Jim Brandon Equestrian Center to continue its fight against breast cancer.

“It makes sense, since I founded The Challenge, that I would want to have my company support the cause,” Ross said. “My partner, Dr. Timmie Pollock, and I thought it was important to support something that affects so many of us.”

Ross created the event in honor of her mother, Jean Cruse, who died from the disease. The Challenge of the Americas features teams of international riders competing in dressage quadrilles to world-class music and choreography in an effort to raise money to help find a cure for breast cancer. Proceeds benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation through Play For P.I.N.K.

Ross works tirelessly to make the family-friendly event a success and gives it her all.  That work ethic and philosophy carries over to MatchnRide.com, the best new website around for listing horses and ponies for sale or lease, advertising an equestrian professional’s business through the Trainers Corner, or listing any other equestrian-related business in the online Marketplace.

“The goal of the MatchnRide website is to find the perfect pairing of horse and rider,” Ross said.  “When a buyer goes to MatchnRide.com, they learn more about a prospective horse and the horse’s owner and trainer. We’re different from the rest and it’s much more comforting to the buyer and to the seller.”
