December 29, 2012 – Wellington, Florida – Coriana van Klapscheut, formerly owned by Artisan Farms and ridden by 2008 Olympic Show Jumping Champion Eric Lamaze, has been sold to Pilar Cordon of Spain.

Partnered with the 2002 Belgian Warmblood mare (Darco x Heartbreaker), Lamaze has enjoyed great success internationally over the past four seasons.  Having won the Six- and Seven-Year-Old Young Horse Final at CSI5* Valkenswaard, NED, in 2009, Lamaze and Coriana van Klapscheut went on to form an incredible partnership that saw them claim grand prix events in Wellington (USA), Maastricht (NED), Paris (FRA), Valencia (ESP), La Baule (FRA), and Rotterdam (NED).

At home in Canada, at Calgary’s famed Spruce Meadows venue, Lamaze and Coriana van Klapscheut won nine major titles, including the $80,000 Suncor Winning Round at the 2011 CSIO5* Spruce Meadows “Masters” tournament and the $80,000 TD Cup at the 2012 CSI5* Spruce Meadows “North American” tournament.
