Substitution of Rider for Spruce Meadows “Masters” Tournament

Lexington, KY – The following riders have been named by the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) to represent the U.S. in Nations Cup competition at the Spruce Meadows “Masters” Tournament held in Calgary, Alberta, Canada on September 9, 2012. A change to the team has been made as Ashlee Bond will be replacing Lauren Hough.

The United States will be represented by the following four riders who have each been entered on either one or two horses:

Ashlee Bond (Hidden Hills, CA) on Little Valley Farms’ Cadett 7.
Cadett 7 is a 15-year-old Holsteiner gelding

Brianne Goutal (New York, NY) on Remarkable Farms’ Nice De Prissey and Cloverleaf Farm’s Ralvesther.
Nice De Prissey is an 11-year-old Selle Francias stallion
Ralvesther is a 14-year-old KWPN mare

Leslie Howard (Darien, CT) on her own and Peter Howard’s Lennox Lewis 2 and The Utah Group’s Utah.
Lennox Lewis 2 is a 13-year-old Oldenburg gelding
Utah is an 11-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding

Reed Kessler (Lexington, KY) on her own Cylana and Ligist.
Cylana is a 10-year-old Belgian Warmblood mare
Ligist is a 12-year-old Swedish Warmblood gelding

George Morris will serve as the Chef d’Equipe.
