Sarah Segal and Tilghman.

Wellington, FL – February 18, 2014 – Week seven is upon us, and the Ridge at Wellington’s Turf Tour is alive with jumper excitement as the leading rider standings are announced. For the past six weeks, professional, junior and amateur jumpers alike have enjoyed the classes at The Ridge at Wellington and the grass fields at venues across Wellington. For weeks, these riders have been competing not only for ribbons each week, but to be named as the Leading Rider in the series finale on Saturday, March 22 at Deeridge Farms. It is Sarah Segal who has ridden to the top of the standings.

This week the Ridge at Wellington Turf Tour will return to the illustrious Deeridge Farms facility for Week VII. This week’s events will take place this Wednesday, February 19, and Saturday, February 22, 2014. This event is one of the highlights of Wellington’s winter circuit with $4,000 up for grabs this Wednesday in the 1.30m-1.35m Jumpers, and qualifying points at stake in the Young Jumper Championship Division.
