Equiventures’ Mission:

We believe Equiventures mission is to present high quality courses for international competitors and produce a progressive, educational series of events annually, thereby maintaining Ocala, Florida’s position as a regional ‘competitive’ epicenter of US eventing. And true to that mission Peter Gray and Jon Holling have been presenting informational sessions to The Villages, Munroe Hospital’s Prestige 55, On Top of The World and other locations in Marion County area to foster the understanding of dressage, stadium jumping and cross country. “Interest is increasing and our public wants to know more about scoring, training and the eventing experience itself,” Peter Gray said. “We are also teaming with the business community in the area to have a superior event that includes a Vendor Village and entertainment for children,” he added.

Jonathan H. Holling, representing the USA in Quebec, Canada, along with 17 other entrants from the US at the 2012 Volvo Bromont, won CCI3* Three Day Event and The Todd Sandler Challenge on Sunday, June 2012. Jon has a DVD of him riding Connie Hollings’ eight-year-old Trakehner gelding Downtown Harrison from this eventing and does a live play-by-play upon request to explain his feelings as the eventer, challenges of the courses, and entertains questions.  “The sport of Three Day Eventing has been a primary focus of my life for over twenty years. The partnership and trust that is formed between a horse and rider while competing together has always inspired me. It is that love of all of my horses that has continued to drive me to reach for the top of the sport. I feel that my participation in the Ocala Horse Properties Horse Trials is my way of being able to give back to a sport that has given so much to me!” Holling said.
