Exhibitors attending the American Gold Cup in Moreland Hills, Ohio, will enjoy one of Northeast Ohio’s popular treasures – the picturesque Cleveland Metroparks park system. Often referred to as the “Emerald Necklace,” the park system consists of more than 21,000 acres of parks and woodlands in 16 reservations that surround Greater Cleveland. One of those scenic areas is the South Chagrin Reservation which includes the historic Cleveland Metroparks Polo Field, home to the American Gold Cup and the new North Coast Jumper Classic.

Join us this year for the fantastic Cleveland fall weather and for the sensational show jumping in the spectacular Chagrin Valley, the home of show jumping in the United States. In 2006, the American Gold Cup returned to Cleveland after a 35-year absence. The first American Gold Cup was held in 1970 at the historic Polo Field, the site of the nation’s first show jumping grand prix. The Gold Cup moved to Florida and became the forerunner of today’s American Invitational in Tampa, before it moved to Devon, PA, outside Philadelphia, where it remained until 2005. And now, after a year’s hiatus, The American Gold Cup returns to Moreland Hills.
