Just a few things…. For those planning to attend the Pensacola Series in January, the closing date is this Friday the 16th. The importance of this closing date is the reduced price of stalls if paid in full by closing date. So, this is just a reminder…. closing date is this Friday. Read the prize list for details.
We also had a couple of corrections in the Pensacola prize list. The 1.10m Children’s and Adult Jumper entry fee says $65 per class; it should have read $45. The YJC classes are $50 for five year olds, $60 for six year olds and $70 for seven and eight year olds.
The Jacksonville closing date for entries is January 19th.
I do want to remind you that the Jacksonville, Pensacola and Gulfport are on our website. The prize list for Atlanta Spring will be out mid-January.
See you at the rings,

We are excited to announce the 2012 Jacksonville Winter Series and are fortunate to have Bob Bell and the Classic Company returning to manage the three week circuit. You will be pleased to see many familiar faces in the office, at the rings and on the tractors. The prize list is complete and is available on both the NFHJA <http://www.nfhja.com/schedule.htm> and the Classic Company <http://www.classiccompany.com/showinfo.html> websites. It will be in the mail at the end of the week.
There will be many notable changes in 2012 and we expect that you will be as excited about them as we are. Jumper Exhibitors will be pleased to find that each of the three weeks will feature a $5,000 Welcome Class in addition to a $25,000 Grand Prix. Hunter Exhibitors will be equally excited to find that each week also features a $2,500 USHJA National Hunter Classic, in addition to the usual division classics. The $5,000 Equitation Classic will be an additional highlight of week 2, and should be a distinctive complement to the circuit’s standard classes. Week 3 will not be outdone with special class offerings, but the spotlight will likely be stolen by the $25,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby. We are delighted to be the host of this distinctive class for the second year in a row. Additional offerings of week 3 include the $5,000 Children’s/Adult Jumper Classic, $500 Circuit High Point Hunter & $500 Circuit High Point Jumper. You might also take note that the World Cup Qualifier is missing this year; however, we strongly feel, and expect that you will agree, that this change will allow us to switch the focus back to our main exhibitors and provide a smooth schedule jam packed with special offerings and prize money galore!

The 2012 Winter Circuits are just around the corner. We posted our three winter circuits today on our website: Jacksonville (Jan. 11-29), Pensacola (Jan. 11-29), and Gulfport (Feb. 8 – Mar. 18).
Come join us for nine great weeks of showing. The prize lists will be in the mail on Friday Nov. 18th so you should get them the week of Thanksgiving.
Just some updates and reminders. The 21st Annual Tryon Fall Classic is three weeks away at Harmond Field, Sept. 23-25. The highlight of the show will again be the Tri State Age Group Equitation Finals. The top ten riders from the NCHJA, SCHJA and GHJA in 11 and Under, 12-14 and 15-17 will compete for a silver trophy for each age group. A list of qualified riders is on our website home page at www.ClassicCompany.com and invitations have been mailed. If you think you have qualified and are not on the list, please call Tissy at our home office. By moving the show from FENCE, we have reduced the costs of production and we have lowered the stall and entry fees from last year. We have also added several opportunity classes that do not require membership to either USEF or USHJA to compete. For those of you who have not competed at Harmond Field, you will be very impressed by the stabling and footing in the show rings. Carol and I are looking forward to seeing you at our annual event. Please call our office for reservations: 843 768 5503.
The Atlanta Fall Classic I & II, Nov. 9-20, will have many new classes this year along with the annual finals for NCE and NHJL. Qualified riders for NCE will be posted soon on our website.
We are well into the planning for the winter shows: Jacksonville Jan. 11-29, Pensacola Jan. 11-29. Both circuits will offer USEF AA rated hunters and $25,000 Grand Prix classes each week. More details on both will be available soon.

On behalf of the NFHJA I want to thank everyone for their support of the shows in Green Cove Springs this winter. Three great weeks of shows in the sunshine state. This week there were lots of meetings and plans are well underway for 2012 and we hope that you will mark your calendars to come back and for those who did not attend, we hope you will join the winter circuit.
I am packing to head to home to work on entries; the crew is packing and heading to Gulfport to set up. Closing date is Tuesday the 2nd and Jeff is waiting to hear from us on how many stalls to erect. If you are planning to attend, please call and make your stall and camper reservations. 843 768 5503 for information or reservations.
Green Cove Springs, FL — January 29, 2011 — Show Jumping action took center stage for the finale of the Jacksonville Winter Series. Starting with the $10,000 Children-Adult Jumper Classic, sponsored by Cedar Street Advisors, it was the Sunshine State’s own Alissa Kinsey from Ft Myers and phenom mare Grisset taking the top spot.
Dave Ballard of Olympic fame took over course designing honors for this final week of competition and created layouts that both tested exhibitors and took spectators’ breaths away at times. A starting field of 27 crossed through the in gate on Saturday afternoon with high hopes of claiming the big prize in the $10,000 Cedar Street Advisors Children-Adult Jumper Classic. Nearly half survived the 68 second limited twisty 12 obstacle first round to advance into the dash for the cash jump off.
Jacksonville Winter III has a new schedule; it is available in the office and on the Classic Company and NFHJA website. Click here for the update: http://www.classiccompany.com/zdocs/jax_sch.pdf.
Gulf Coast Winter Circuit — Feb 9 – Mar 13, 2011
Had a great trip to Gulfport yesterday and the grounds are looking great for our event. Closing date is Tuesday February 1st. Make sure we have your stall and camper reservations soon. The tents are up for the stalls that have been ordered but to keep costs down this year, we are only putting up the number of stalls that are reserved. Call 843 768 5503 for information or reservations.
Just a reminder that the stalls/tents will start going up in Jacksonville on Friday so we need to get the best count we can. If you are planning on attending the Jacksonville Winter Series (Jan 12 – Jan 30) this winter, please call and let us know your stall count. In order to keep our expenses down and your costs down, we plan only to erect the number of stalls reserved this year. You are welcome to email or call. Email is info@nfhja.com and phone is 904 993 2053.
