Yes, they are finally done! I have just finished the new Riding with Soul(TM) CDs. It has been quite a month with the World Equestrian Games and moving the horses and crew to Florida for the competition season, but now they are ready! I have been getting so many emails from you about when the new CDs are coming out and what type of music you want. Thanks!
Due to popular demand, I have made a second Jazz and Big Band CD. In my first batch, the Jazz and Big Band CD flew out of my inventory faster than I could make them! So for all you Jazz enthusiasts, ballroom dancers, and big band swingers, this one’s for YOU!

Ocala, FL (October 26, 2010) – Horse enthusiasts with the drive and passion to learn natural horsemanship will now have the opportunity to earn scholarships to study with world-renowned natural horsemanship trainer Pat Parelli. The Parelli Education Foundation will offer students over 100 scholarships during the next year.
Under the guidance of Parelli’s longtime friend Tim Sullivan, the Parelli Education Foundation will offer students from the novice level to seasoned professionals the chance to learn Parelli Natural Horsemanship, the number one horsemanship program in the world. “I have been friends with Pat for over 15 years and have worked with Pat as a musician, singing on his videos and on his tours,” Sullivan said. “I am very excited about the new Parelli Education Foundation. If a person has the desire and ability, we want them to come and study with us and we don’t want money to get in the way.”

Buffalo, NY – October 25, 2010 – The Buffalo Therapeutic Riding Center (BTRC) is excited to announce that it will be the host facility for the 2010 USHJA Emerging Athletes National Training Session on November 19-21, 2010. The BTRC is the only indoor riding facility uniquely located in the heart of the city of Buffalo, and has been the site of a therapeutic riding program for 10 years. Auditors are invited to take part in the educational weekend, and all proceeds will benefit the BTRC and its unique program.
The challenging weekend will feature three days of intense training with Olympic Gold Medalist Peter Wylde, Veterinarians Dr. Midge Leitch and Dr. Kit Miller, Stable Managers Jennifer Alfano and Eliza Shuford, and Horsemanship seminars with Mindy Bower. Courses will be designed by ‘R’ rated judge and former US Show Jumping team member, Chrystine Tauber. The 12 finalists will be judged by Olympic Gold Medalist and Emerging Athletes Program (EAP) Co-Chair, Melanie Smith Taylor.
Buffalo Therapeutic Riding Center Director Susan B. Schoellkopf has had a hand in producing many of the country’s top horses and riders over the years and is thrilled to host the EAP’s national training session. “I think that the Emerging Athletes Program is a fantastic way to further the young talent that we have in this country and I look forward to taking part in the weekend’s events,” Schoellkopf stated. “Not only does this weekend serve as a stepping stone in the careers of these emerging riders, but it will also raise money to benefit the BTRC’s riders, who are able to fight through their mental and physical disabilities through their relationships with horses.”

I have VERY exciting news for you! I have purchased a farm in Wellington, Florida to be able to continue to give my clients and horses the best possible training facility and “home away from home” as possible. I’ve been working on this special project since last April, and it’s finally done.
I am going to be offering a special rate for the first season of operation at our new facility, as well as offering month to month full care and training for those who can not afford the full season. After talking to numerous people about their needs and budgets, I have found over the years that a lot of you would love to take the opportunity to come to Fl for training. But due to the traditional billing of seasonal stalls, it’s just not feasible.
Of course, stall priority will be given to those horses who would like a stall for the entire season. But I am determined to offer training and full care at an affordable price for those who would like only 2 or 3 months instead of the entire season. I feel that this is a service that has been overlooked in Wellington.
Trail and Gaited Enthusiasts Celebrate as Tom Seay and Liz Graves Join Equine Extravaganza’s Celebrity Line-Up
Doswell, VA: The excitement mounts as this year’s Equine Extravaganza rounds out its exceptional cast of equine experts with two more horse industry icons. Equine Extravaganza is pleased to welcome Tom Seay, the producer and talent from the TV show “Best of America by Horseback”, and gaited clinician extraordinaire, Liz Graves, to the already star studded cast, October 29-13, 2010 at The Meadow Event Park, Doswell, Virginia.
Tom Seay’s trail riding experience is virtually unparalleled. In 1995 he led “The American Transcontinental Trail Ride” where he took a group of horseback riders and wagons from Savannah, Georgia, all the way to San Diego, California. It was a four and a half month trail ride with more than 250 riders participating. Not only does Tom have the personal trail riding experience to share, but he has a vast wealth of general horse knowledge that he has been gathering since he was five years old.

Wellington, FL (July 6, 2010) – Fifteen-time New York Times bestselling mystery writer and professional Grand Prix dressage rider Tami Hoag has donated Fhilosopher, her 11-year-old Westfalian gelding by Fidermark, to take midterm tests instead of dressage tests at the University of Findlay in Ohio. Hoag describes him as a “wonderful horse with an incredible character and a lot of quality.”
While Fhilosopher will be an asset to the college, Hoag explained he has limitations that will not allow him to be a top FEI horse. Therefore, her loss will be the gain of Findlay students. In fact, instead of the judge’s bell Fhil will start his day to the school bell. Hoag said, “with Fhilosopher the students will learn what it feels like to ride a truly world class mover, and how to maintain a soft consistent contact with the bridle with a horse that sometimes like to play hide-and-seek with the bit! He will make any student who mounts him a better rider with a greater awareness for quality of gaits.”
