Women’s Horse Industry Association Newsletter November 30, 2009

FROM HEADQUARTERS:
I am often asked what the Women’s Horse Industry Association is, what its mission and goals are, etc. My response is pretty simple. We are a BUSINESS NETWORK for women working in the horse industry worldwide. We exist for one reason only: TO HELP OUR MEMBERS DO MORE BUSINESS! And, it’s working. Each and every day I get phone calls and emails from people telling me that they are doing business around the country with other members. They are connecting with each other on a regular basis and not only doing business but making life long friends. The cool thing about our association and its members is that we are a very diversified group and cover all disciplines of the horse industry. And, if you were at our first conference you know that to be a fact. But, unlike other events, when our members get together they help one another and don’t just stay within their disciplines. They work with everyone. And, that makes us really happy. Remember, the more contacts you have the more business you can do so keep on making those phone calls and sending those emails. It’s working!
