With the help of our dedicated supporters, In Defense of Animals is able to be the ‘boots on the ground’ organization in cases of neglect and abuse throughout Mississippi. Your support has literally meant the difference between life and death for horses and donkeys in Mississippi. For Dodger the donkey, the road ahead is now full of hope as he begins the long process of healing and recovery, but sadly others may not be so fortunate. It is difficult and costly to be all places at once. For every case of neglect and abuse in which IDA has intervened, countless others continue unchecked. Your support has also meant that as well as operating “in the field,” IDA also operates in the courtroom. We seek to be a voice for those abused animals who have no voice, waging the legal battles necessary to ensure justice is served. Without your help none of it would be possible.
