The Gulf Coast Winter Classic in Pensacola, Florida starts January 4th and kicks off three weeks of top show jumping competition along the Gulf of Mexico. The three weeks of show jumping on the Emerald Coast in Pensacola, followed by six weeks on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, all on one circuit, add up to a perfect 10!

The Escambia County Equestrian Center is home to the Gulf Coast Winter Classics in Pensacola for three weeks and offers a huge covered arena, beautiful outdoor arenas, plenty of stabling in permanent barns with large stalls, indoor wash racks and roomy aisles. On-site RV pads with water and electric hook up are available and scenic riding trails are also a part of the equestrian center.
Top hotels are just minutes from the show grounds, offering plenty of lodging choices for those with and without pets. Partner hotels offer special rates for those showing in Pensacola. Long time sponsor, Red Roof Inn, offers special horse show rates. Red Roof Inn is a pet-friendly hotel in close proximity to the show grounds that offers complimentary Internet access, breakfasts and parking. Select rooms offer microwaves and mini-fridges. Week One of the Saturday night grand prix schedule kicks off with a $10,000 Jumper Classic, Week II offers the $25,000 Nutrena Grand Prix, and Week III wraps up Pensacola with the $25,000 EMO Grand Prix. There are Derby classes each week and a $10,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby Week II. There will be a complimentary Wild West Show Week III to close out this year’s Pensacola shows.

After three Pensacola perfect weeks, go west! Hop on I-10 and only two hours later arrive in Gulfport, Mississippi, home to six weeks of AA Gulf Coast Winter Classics on the beautiful Gulf Coast.
The six week AA Gulf Coast Winter Classics in Gulfport kick off February 7 and offer more than a million in prize money and awards. Combine that fact with the best turf field in the country, top show management staff, its Mississippi Gulf Coast location, complete with beachfront hotels and condos, and some of the best seafood and fishing in the country and you have a winner!
The Gulf Coast Winter Classics offer weekly grand prix, hunter derbies, meter 1.20, 1.40 AND 1.30 jumper classes. Classes range from walk trot to grand prix, so bring the whole barn!
