Ocala, Florida (January 15, 2015): HITS, Inc. is preparing to welcome the top American and International riders to HITS Post Time Farm in Ocala, Florida, for the Furusiyya Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI) Nations Cup CSIO4*, presented by Edge Brewing Barcelona, on Friday, February 13.
The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) named five of the top U.S. riders Wednesday, January 14, to the Hermès U.S. Show Jumping Team that will represent their country in this international show jumping event, which will be held during the HITS Ocala Winter Circuit. The team includes: Beezie Madden, Kent Farrington, Lauren Hough, Laura Kraut, and Georgina Bloomberg.
Madden is looking forward to returning to Ocala after her 12th place finish in the 2014 Great American $1 Million Grand Prix. “While the other specific teams that will be joining us have not been finalized, the U.S. team is a very strong one, and I’m confident in our chances,” she said.
These riders are among the highest-ranked in the world, including two who are in the top 12 of the Longines FEI World Rankings. The FEI is the international governing body for all Olympic equestrian disciplines. The USEF is the national governing body for equestrian sport in the U.S., and is the equestrian arm of the United States Olympic Committee.
