Florida Horse Park and Foundation for the Florida Horse Park to Launch $2 Million Capital Campaign
(Ocala, Florida) — The Florida Horse Park and the Foundation for the Florida Horse Park held a joint press conference this morning, May 22, 2013, to announce the launch of a $2 million capital campaign to expand the Florida Horse Park and Agricultural Center (Florida Horse Park) at its Ocala location. This major funding campaign comes on the heels of Florida Governor Rick Scott’s signing of Monday’s 2013-2014 General Appropriations Act allocating a $2 million to the Park with a goal of matching this funding.
About the Florida Horse Park (i.e. Florida Agricultural Center and Horse Park)
Ideally situated on 500 acres in the heart of Central Florida near I-75 in the heart of Marion County’s horse country, this year-round, world-class facility is fast becoming the centerpiece of Florida’s equestrian lifestyle community.
