Wellington, FL – August 29, 2012 – Equestrian Sport Productions announces that the ESP Labor Day Show, held at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (PBIEC), will continue as scheduled on August 31 – September 2, 2012, with adjusted start times on Friday, August 31. Despite 14 inches of rainfall in the Wellington area over the past three days, the PBIEC has drained the water quickly and the footing remains safe and sound.

The ESP Labor Day Show is an “A” rated, 3* Jumper show. On Friday, August 31, the start time for the jumper ring will be moved back to 10 a.m., while the hunter ring will start at 12 p.m. ESP expects the regular start times of 8 a.m. to remain in place for Saturday and Sunday.

ESP show manager David Burton stated, “We are happy with the way the show grounds are draining, now that the water outside the facility is rapidly decreasing.

I am confident as of this morning that the rings should dry out by Friday given the rapid drainage in the last 24 hours. We welcome anyone who wants to come compete at PBIEC this week.”

As a courtesy for anyone looking for a dry stall for horses over the weekend and want to participate in the show, ESP offers a discounted rate of $80 per stall to anyone who is competing in the ESP Labor Day Show.
