WESTPORT, CT – November 5, 2013 – Thanks to Ariat International, sponsor of the EQUUS Foundation CHAMPIONS Equine Service program, the EQUUS Foundation will award two scholarships in 2014 based on volunteer service in 2013 to assist prospective instructors in obtaining instructor certification.
Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA) Certification Scholarship
The EQUUS Foundation is pleased to announce the Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA) Champion of Equine Service Certification Scholarship to financially assist prospective instructors who achieve CHAMPION status with obtaining a CHA Standard Instructor Certification.
The EQUUS Foundation will award one scholarship to cover the registration fee up to $1,000 for the recipient to attend any CHA Standard English Western clinic.
Prospective instructors who achieve CHAMPION status by December 31, 2013 will be eligible for the scholarship to be awarded in 2014.
PATH International Certification Scholarship
The EQUUS Foundation is pleased to announce the PATH Intl. Champion of Equine Service Certification Scholarship to assist prospective instructors with the cost of obtaining the PATH Intl. Registered Level Instructor Certification.
The EQUUS Foundation will award one scholarship to cover the registration fee up to $1,000 for the recipient to attend a PATH Intl. Registered Level Instructor Certification Workshop.
Prospective instructors who achieve CHAMPION status by December 31, 2013 will be eligible for the scholarship to be awarded in 2014.
CHAMPIONS is the EQUUS Foundation’s incentive-based equine service volunteer program sponsored by Ariat International to recognize and reward individuals and organizations on the Foundation’s Equine Welfare Network.
You can become a CHAMPION by volunteering a minimum of 24 hours for an organization or organizations on the Equine Welfare Network between January 1 and December 31.
