Classic Company and the Gulf Coast Classic Company Welcome Equestrian Connect as Its Official Service Provider!

Show management encourages all exhibitors to submit their entries online, using Equestrian Connect’s easy to use service.

Classic Company is proud to announce that it will once again be working with Equestrian Connect, the one minute horse show entry service, to offer its exhibitors the convenience of submitting horse show entries electronically for all Classic Company 2013 horse shows.

Equestrian Connect is a web service that allows horse show exhibitors to complete their entry forms online and submit them electronically.  The service currently has over 9,000 members in the United States and Canada, and provides entry forms for over 800 USEF “A” hunter/jumper shows.

“We are so excited to be able to offer our customers the opportunity to sign up with Equestrian Connect for all Classic shows.  Not only does it save the exhibitors and barns hours of time completing entries, but it also removes errors caused by misreading poor handwriting,” said Classic Company President Bob Bell.  “Entries are received on time and all of the required information is there, and the USEF and USHJA numbers are correct and legible.  And, in our efforts to continue to go as green as possible, this is a step in the right direction,” he added.

While entry deadlines for Pensacola have passed, Gulfport is fast approaching and is due to close January 13.  Simply click on the Equestrian Connect logo and link on the hot documents tab on any Classic Show.  There is no faster way to complete entries for all Classic events than Equestrian Connect.

Why Exhibitors Should Use Equestrian Connect?

Exhibitors spend hours filling in horse show entry forms, looking up membership numbers and other necessary information, and then spending money on overnight delivery services to get their entries in on time. Simone Otus Coxe and Barbara Phillips knew there had to be an easier way, and Equestrian Connect was born.

Equestrian Connect allows exhibitors to store their data one time, on the web, and then use that data to automatically fill out hunter/jumper entry forms across the country.  The service offers a free 45 day trial period for new members.  At the conclusion of the trial period, Equestrian Connect offers an annual subscription, or a “pay as you go” service. The service allows exhibitors to save both time and money.

“When you consider the cost of overnighting entries for your barn, the cost is less than the ‘panic’ postage!” said Classic Company Office Manager Jonathan Rabon.

That sentiment is apparently shared by many as exhibitors, trainers, horse owners and barn managers took an immediate liking to this service of electronic entry forms.

Chad Watridge of Ridgewater Show Stables in St. Augustine, Florida said, “We love it. We run a small business and our list of horses changes very rarely.  We set up the account in the beginning of the year and we don’t need to do anything else for the rest of the year – no more cards, no more numbers.  Once we input the information, it’s available for the year.  We don’t need to know those numbers again because it’s all accurate.” Chad and his wife Brooke have two young children and really value every spare second.  “With the kids in tow, to do each entry by hand is next to impossible,” said Chad.  His wife Brooke added, “It is completely affordable and it’s definitely worth the price.”

Trainer Jack Towell of Finally Farm from Camden, South Carolina said, “We have about 25 horses on Equestrian Connect and my people love the service.” Liz Devor of Finally Farm is the one responsible for all of the entries.  “It does making entries fast and easy,” she commented.

“Users can operate Equestrian Connect from their smart phone or tablet as well as the computer,” Barbara explains. “The prize lists and schedules are all available right there, so people don’t need to carry them. They can even download reports with a summary of the horses scheduled to go and what they’re showing in, which they can then distribute to their barn manager, staff, etc. We will continue to streamline the process for both the shows and the exhibitors to make this process easier and smoother so everyone can get out of the show office and focus on riding, showing, and having a great time with their horses. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service, and providing a positive experience for all users is our key objective.”
