Equestrian Aid Foundation Announces Clambake during Hampton Classic

Clams and Cocktails on the Beach for a Good Cause

Bridgehampton, NY. August 8, 2013 – As the equine community in the Northeast heads out to the Hamptons for the 2013 Hampton Classic Horse Show, the Equestrian Aid Foundation is offering a way for exhibitors and spectators alike to relax and mingle outside of the ring.

The Equestrian Aid Foundation Hamptons Clambake will take place on Thursday, August 29th at Scott Cameron Beach in Bridgehampton. The event will honor EAF’s past, present and future recipients and raise money to support EAF’s mission to help equestrian professionals in their time of need. Guests will enjoy traditional clambake cuisine and cocktails while reconnecting with old friends and sharing in a perfect Hamptons evening. Equestrian-inspired leather sandals by Katharine Page will be available for purchase at the event, and five percent of the proceeds will benefit EAF. Partygoers can purchase sandals named after their favorite horse shows, including the event-appropriate Hampton.

“We are excited to be hosting a fun, casual event to bring together everyone from the horse show,” said board member and event chair Stephanie Riggio Bulger. “EAF hopes that you will trade the sand of the show rings for the sand of the beach to join us for this clambake, a traditional aspect of Hamptons summers.”
