Wellington, FL (December 30, 2010) – Riders who put their best foot forward each week during the world class 2011 FTI Winter Equestrian Festival will have the chance to ride away with the “Put Your Best Foot Forward” Award. Sponsored by Draper Equine Therapy, makers of therapeutic horse and rider products featuring the innovative “smart fiber” textile Celliant, each winner will receive a pair of Draper Equine Therapy Recovery Wraps, an Anti-Sweat Sheet and Saddle Pad for their horse, along with a pair of Draper Body Therapy Socks and a t-shirt for themselves.

“Draper is thrilled to be sponsoring the ‘Put Your Best Foot Forward’ Award at WEF. This is a wonderful opportunity to reward talent that might not be winning ribbons each week at WEF, regardless of all the determination and hard work they are putting forward,” said Kat Wojtylak, Product Manager of Draper Equine Therapy. “We want to recognize those horses and riders who are really giving it their all, because everyone deserves a shot at being the best.”

The 2011 Winter Equestrian Festival, held January 12 to April 3 at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center, is a world-class show circuit that attracts top horses, riders and trainers from all around the world. “The winners of the ‘Put Your Best Foot Forward’ Award are going to have the opportunity to really try the products out by feeling and watching the results,” Wojtylak said. “We have riders with feet problems that put on our socks and call us the next day to tell us their pain is gone. We have one rider who says he will never take off our socks because he is pain free for the first time in five years.”

Wojtylak said the secret to the Draper products is that they are made with Celliant. “Celliant takes a blend of microscopic minerals and gemstones that when put in contact with the body, act as reflective mirrors for infrared energy emitted from the body and the ambient light in the atmosphere. This previously unavailable energy is then redirected back to the muscles and circulatory system to help relax and improve blood flow to the body while increasing oxygenation to the tissues. The result from increased oxygenation is accelerated muscle recovery, expedited healing, increased stamina and increased regulation of body temperature.”

Wojtylak added that while Celliant has been clinically proven to have wide range of therapeutic effects, as proven in five clinical studies, the benefits can also last long after contact has been discontinued. “Every day we get calls of the products outperforming our wildest expectations; everything from helping combat arthritis to resolving bone spurs, expediting healing and even something as simple as getting a more restful and un-interrupted sleep.”

Draper offers three complete lines of Celliant enhanced products: Draper Body Therapy; Draper Equine Therapy; and Draper Canine Therapy. Draper Body Therapy offers products ranging from athletic gear to spa therapy, all offering the wonderful benefits of Celliant. The specific product line includes eye pillows, shoulder wraps, t-shirts, blankets, sport supports, sleep liners, socks and back belts. The Draper Equine Therapy line, designed to help horses build stamina and recover faster from exertion and injury, includes everything from leg wraps and blankets, to quarter sheets, hock boots and anti-sweat sheets. Complimentary to their other lines, Draper Canine Therapy offers smaller four-legged friends the same benefits in the form of beds, wraps and blankets.

A panel of judges will select one rider each week during WEF to win the “Put Your Best Foot Forward” Award. “We are very excited to be part of the Winter Equestrian Festival again and look forward to meeting all of the winners of the ‘Put Your Best Foot Forward’ award,” Wojtylak said. “Once they put on our socks or try out the wraps, they will happily be putting their best foot forward.”
