Wellington, FL (March 13, 2012) – A star-studded lineup of jumper riders rode into the winner’s circle in the 1.35 Jumper classes during the second and third week of the FTI Winter Equestrian Festival. Laura Chapot won two classes aboard Valentia and Reed Kessler won with Pacha De Nantuel during the second week of the prestigious horse show. During the third week, Filip De Wandel rode into the winner’s circle with Dache De Toulon, Beezie Madden captured the blue with Zhivago and Kristen Vanderveen placed first with Bull Run’s Revelation.

The 1.35m jumpers are sponsored by World Development Group, a premier developer committed to building the equestrian lifestyle.  Based in Wellington, Florida, World Development Group is constructing the new show grounds for the Global Dressage Festival in Wellington. “We want to congratulate all of the riders who won the 1.35m Jumper classes during the second and third week of the Winter Equestrian Festival,” said David Zinaman, Director of Real Estate Sales and Marketing for the World Development Group. “We are thrilled to be part of the show scene in Wellington. Our company is dedicated to promoting the equestrian lifestyle and there is no better place to live that life than in Wellington.”

Chapot and Valentia, a 2002 KWPN mare by Calvino Z, were last year’s FTI WEF Circuit Champions in the 1.35m division. They have continued their success this year and have already posted three wins in the division. Chapot said she is happy with Valentia’s start to the circuit. “I’m so pleased that she’s starting out so well after a long break and coming out of the cold north. To come down here and be really competitive in the first two weeks is very exciting,” she said.

Chapot said that Valentia is “a lot of fun in the ring.” She explained, “She can be a little bit difficult in the schooling area. She is nervous about other horses and gets a little jittery, but once you get her through the in-gate, she really focuses on her job. Once you get in the ring, she really likes to take charge and go fast.”

Throughout the Wellington winter show season, the World Development Group has stepped up as sponsors of everything from the 1.35m Jumpers to the Tack Room Award at the prestigious hunter and jumper show. They are also sponsoring a variety of dressage shows, from being inaugural sponsors of the Global Dressage Festival to sponsoring classes at the Wellington Classic Dressage Association, and the Gold Coast Dressage Association.

In developing the true equestrian lifestyle, the World Development Group has the ability to build projects ranging from small residential barns to complete show facilities, from custom homes to equestrian themed residential communities. “Our goal is to help clients develop their dreams and then see them become a reality,” Zinaman said, adding that the World Development Group has a talented team that brings extensive experience in all facets of design, engineering and construction to the table.
