FEI and ClipMyHorse.TV Join Forces on Equestrian Live Streaming

The FEI and ClipMyHorse.TV (CMH.TV) have entered into an agreement that is set to change the future landscape of the global governing body’s live streaming services to millions of equestrian fans worldwide. CMH.TV is one of the world’s leading providers of live streams for equestrian sports.

“We are very excited with this new venture which is the result of open and productive conversations with the founder of ClipMyHorse.TV, Mr Klaus Plönzke,” President Ingmar De Vos said.

“This is the first time the FEI will have an equity stake in a company which will allow us to actively contribute to shaping the narrative around the coverage of equestrian events.

“By bringing together our collective strengths, we can work towards the development of one combined live streaming service that provides high quality event coverage and a broader range of content to fans.”

FEI.TV has traditionally live-streamed all major FEI Series and Championships, with an extensive range of replays, special features, and historic events coverage available live and on-demand. Subscribers can now view coverage of international, national, and local equestrian events, with commentary provided in English as well as local languages. They will also have access to the largest archive of equestrian video content and an extensive database of information on athletes and horses.

“ClipMyHorse.TV’s comprehensive platform and their extensive experience with production and streaming services within this sector will allow for an improved viewing experience for FEI.TV customers, while the look and feel of FEI.TV will, at least for the moment, stay the same,” FEI Commercial Director Ralph Straus said.

“The depth of the combined offering is unique and will provide equestrian fans access to a wide range of events all under one roof, from top international events to local competitions, together with online equestrian magazines, documentaries, and other relevant programming.”

Currently the FEI.TV online television platform is providing coverage of past events and special equestrian features free of charge to everyone while live sport is on hold.

“The market for OTT and streaming services has grown substantially and we have seen an exponential rise in online viewing,” CEO of CMH.TV Markus Detering explained.

“We created the CMH.TV platform in 2007 with the express aim of making horse sport events across the world accessible to fans and followers everywhere and at any time.

“By pooling our resources with the FEI, we will be able to offer equestrian fans a more in-depth and enriching experience that will make the sport even more attractive and to a wider global audience.”

Esparteiro Interagro’s Watchful Eye Graces Cover of Revista Horse

Cover of Revista Horse Brazil, June 2020. Photo courtesy of Interagro Lusitanos.

Itapira, Sao Paulo, Brazil (July 10, 2020) – During a trying time in world history, the reflective eye of an Interagro Lusitano was chosen to grace the cover of one of Brazil’s largest equestrian magazines: Revista Horse. Esparteiro Interagro, an elegant mahogany bay stallion, was photographed by Tupa as a young horse, and his pensive, intelligent expression accurately reflects the breed standard of the Interagro Lusitano sport horse.

Esparteiro, who has since been exported to the United States to pursue a dressage career, exudes the conformation, beauty, and noble air of his sire, Perdigueiro (MAC). The famous gray stallion (Hábil (MV) x Fidalga (MAC)) was also a cover star for Revista Horse in August of 2017, and is one of Interagro’s most influential sires. His offspring, including Esparteiro, excel in many disciplines including dressage, jumping, working equitation, driving, and conformation/in hand classes.

With travel between Brazil and the United States still mired in coronavirus concerns, Interagro’s US agents have been observing pairs of horses via WhatsApp video to select ideal FEI and adult amateur prospects before arranging for shipping to South Florida. With horses currently on 4 continents, Interagro is no stranger to selling horses virtually, even before the onset of the COVID-19 epidemic. A focus on integrity, quality, and trust between breeder, agent, and buyer has yielded much success in “sight unseen” sales via video, both in national and international auctions as well as one-on-one transactions.

For more information on Interagro Lusitanos, Interagro’s horses for sale, or the Lusitano bloodlines, visit Interagro’s website at www.lusitano-interagro.com.

Fighting Back against BLM’s Nefarious, Brutal Plan for Wild Horses

TCF Founder and Director Ginger Kathrens recently teamed up with Charlotte Roe, retired diplomat and founder of the Wild Equid League of Colorado, on an Op Ed published in the Washington Examiner. It’s an article that exposes the truth about the BLM’s insidious plan for our last remaining wild horse and burro herds.

As Ginger said in a recent video, it’s time to speak truth to power. It’s time to bring these horrible plans to the awareness of the American people.

Please read and share this important article far and wide, so collectively we can raise our voices against BLM’s unjust actions and protect these iconic, beloved animals for generations to come.

This week’s Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ and FEI Dressage World Cup™ Finals in Las Vegas were one of the early high-profile victims of the Covid-19 outbreak when they were cancelled in mid-March. But Jumping and Dressage fans now have the opportunity to relive some of the very best moments of the FEI World Cup™ Finals from the past five years – 2015 to 2019 – live and free on FEI.TV, FEI Jumping and Dressage Facebook pages, and FEI YouTube channel daily. “Our broadcast partners are struggling to fill their air-time without live sport, so this initiative has been put in place to ensure that they have access to top equestrian footage and, together, we can keep our fans around the world happy with their daily dose of equestrian content,” Straus says.

“On behalf of everyone at NEE TV, we would like to thank everyone in advance that participates in the initial episode of ‘Unbridled.’ We formulated this idea as a way to give something back to the equestrian community, and we are thrilled that Eric agreed to be our first guest,” commented Ali Nilforushan, founder of NEE TV. “We hope to make this show a raw look into the lives of some of the most recognizable names in show jumping, and we are excited to launch the program very soon.”

Whether you are interested in Eric’s three Olympic gold medal, his brain tumor battle, horse show suspensions or anything in between, he will be speaking to those compelling questions. Prior to the broadcast, viewers that have paid for the episode will be able to submit questions for the interviewer to ask on air.

The series, “A Masterclass with Isabell Werth,” will boast four half-hour educational episodes during which Werth will provide unique insight into her training philosophy and what has propelled her to the very top of equestrian sport.

Raised on her parents’ farm in Germany, Werth was exposed to horses from an early age. She competed in showjumping and eventing before being exposed to dressage by her neighbor, renowned dressage expert Dr. Uwe Schulten-Baumer, at age 17. Werth and her mentor worked together for 14 years before Werth established her own training facility near her home village of Rheinberg, Germany. Her career took off and now, with six Olympic gold medals and numerous world championship wins under her belt, Werth is the most decorated equestrian athlete of all time.

Even more impressively, Werth currently can be found three times in the top ten FEI World Dressage Ranking List as she holds the top spot with Bella Rose 2, second place with Weihegold OLD, and ninth place with Emilio 107.

“I love what I do. To go out into the stable and to go out and work with different horses and improve horses – in the end, it brings me great emotions. There is no question of motivation. I really enjoy being competitive,” says Werth of the sport.

Don’t miss the opportunity to watch and learn from the queen of dressage! The first three episodes are available on demand now for your viewing pleasure, while the final episode will be broadcast Feb. 26 at 3:00 p.m. EST.
