Wellington, FL – January 15, 2011 – The first annual FTI Great Charity Challenge galloped out of the gates in 2010 with huge momentum, raising over $560,000 for 24 non-profit charities. The success of the inaugural event inspired Equestrian Sport Productions to set a fundraising goal of $1 million for the 2011 FTI Great Charity Challenge presented by Fidelity Investments, which is a featured event of the 2011 FTI Winter Equestrian Festival.
The Great Charity Challenge (GCC) is a relay style jumping competition that is scheduled to take place at 6:00 p.m. on February 19, 2011 in the International Arena at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center. Thirty relay teams will be formed, consisting of two junior/amateur riders and one professional rider. Each equestrian team is assigned a charity to represent, and the charity matched with the winning team will win over $100,000!
The event will also host the Equestrian Aid Foundation Carnival, where children can enjoy carnival games, a dunk tank, a moon bounce, and more. In the true spirit of giving, the EAF will contribute half of the proceeds received from the Carnival to the total prize money awarded to the 30 charities participating in the GCC. The other half of the proceeds will be contributed to the Equestrian Aid Foundation.
Because of your help, we raised over $11,564.00 in 2010!

The summer season came to a close with several terrific fundraisers. It was great to see so many people with a passion to help others in need.
“Back Where It All Began” held during the Hampton Classic Horse Show turned out to be a fun-filled, elegant event. Special thanks to the event chairman Stephanie Riggio for creating a successful evening.
More than 1,200 eventers joined us at the competitors’ party during the American Eventing Championships at Chattahoochee Hills in Fairburn, Ga. Great food, dancing and an auction completed the party.
The “Play It Forward” poker tournament in Las Vegas was great fun as the competition moved from the reining ring to the poker table. Special thanks to Mandi Brumley of Brumley Management Group and all our friends at the High Roller Reining Classic.
Wellington, FL – May 3, 2010 – Robert Ross, in conjunction with his office, Keller Williams Realty, hosted a grand gala on the property of his latest listing at 3410 Old Hampton Drive in Wellington. The amazing facility was open to the public for one evening and featured cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, tours of the breathtaking facility and a very special Musical Freestyle performance by the one and only Robert Dover. Over 200 people attended the End of Season Celebration, which was a huge success, raising over $20,000 to benefit the Equestrian Aid Foundation (EAF) as well as injured riders Charlie Weaver and Courtney King-Dye.
Delicious hors d’oeuvres and cocktails were provided at every turn as guests toured the amazing barn and living quarters on this 15,366 sq. ft. property.
