Andreas Dibowski Wins in Baborówko

Baborówko, 1st of October 2018 — Baborówko Horse Sale Show has ended after three days of exciting competition during national and international classes. The sport horses auction held during the event, presenting horses with predispositions for showjumping and eventing, was also a success.

The team Olympic champion from 2008, Andreas Dibowski, has won the most difficult class of the show, CIC3* for the prize of KUHN, aboard WOLFSMOND. The pair had taken the 10th position after dressage, but after great rounds in cross-country and showjumping they have managed to take the lead in the class. Second place went to Anna Siemer (GER) with FRH BUTT’S AVONDALE, and third to Paweł Warszawski (POL), representing Baborówko Equestrian Association, with ARISTO A-Z. Being only the second start at the 3* level, it is a great success for the Polish pair.

In the CIC2* for the prize of Lotto, the podium belonged to Germany. Ben Leuwer (GER) won the class with C’EST LA VIE 135. Kari Ingrid Gunzenhäuser (GER) was second with LET’S DANCE 73, and third went to Andreas Dibowski (GER) riding MAMA’S MAGIC WAY. Paweł Warszawski (POL) was the highest classified Polish rider in the class, finishing 5th with LUCINDA EX ANI 4.

In the CIC1* for the prize of Duon, Paweł Spisak (POL) had taken the lead after Friday’s dressage test with PACO and kept it all the way until the clear showjumping on Sunday. Second place went to Daria Kobiernik (POL) with IDEAL GIRL, and third to Ben Leuwer (GER) with AVATAR 28.

Baborówko Horse Sale Show was also the third edition of the sport horses auction. 10 of 16 presented horses found new owners, and many of them were bought by foreign athletes.
