The big countdown has started before the most important equestrian show of the year: FEI European Championships in Eventing.
Strzegom in Lower Silesia will be the host of the event that is run every two years. Such a prestigious competition is taking place in Poland for the first time. The introduction for the sport challenge will be opening ceremony at the Pergola near Centennial Hall in Wroclaw on 15th August at 20:45.
“The ceremony will be the great opportunity to present all the national teams to vast publicity as well as to welcome the participants of this great sport event,” said Marcin Konarski, Event Director.
After the presentation there will be a special multimedia fountain show. Accompanied by music and lights the equestrian relating art visualization will be performed.
“There’s the biggest equestrian event in Europe coming soon. For four days on Morawa Hippodrome top European eventing riders and horses will compete,” added Marcin Konarski.
Eventing, also called equestrian triathlon, consists of three different tests which the rider is taking on the same horse. It starts with dressage test followed by cross – the race with the fences taken in high speed canter – that’s the most exciting part. The whole competition finishes with show jumping test.
