Classes closed on September 7th. Entries will not be complete unless accompanied by full payment of all fees and the entry form properly executed and signed, with proof for all registration numbers, and the signed USDF Release Form. The management reserves the right to refuse any entry, combine, divide or cancel classes, use substitute judges, or make any other changes as deemed appropriate at the time. Additional policies may apply at the discretion of this management. Entries will be accepted on a “First come, First Served” basis. USEF GR 1509, Section 2.

Great American//USDF Qualifying Fee -$10

USEF Non-Member fee - $20 plus Discipline fee - $5; Jrs. $20

 

One Day Stabling - Not Avail.

Security Fee/Night Watch - Mandatory
Thurs. – Sat. night - $10

Incomplete entry fee - $10 ( refundable if complete on 1st receipt )

Stabling Horse or Tack (3 nights) $110 Stabling extra nights - to be arranged directly with the Center 904-573-3150

Federal Express, UPS, Airborne, and US Postal Service Mail entries. Please sign the signature waiveron the entry. Management is not responsible for late entries due to the signature waiver not being signed.

ARENAS

All classes will be riden in a standard arena (20x60 meters). One indoor arena and three outdoor arenas with special sand mixture or turf/rubber footing. Longeing is permitted in designated areas only and is not permitted in the schooling arenas.

All Competition Arenas are off limit, except for your scheduled ride. A "Super Warm-Up" may be permitted on Thursday, at the discretion of Management.

No one is allowed in any arena on foot. Please do not sit on the railings.

RIDE TIMES

PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT THERE IS NO GUARANTEE THAT YOUR OPEN SHOW RIDE WILL BE PRIOR TO YOUR CHAMPIONSHIP RIDE DUE TO SCHEDULING RESTRAINTS. ALL SHOW CORRESPONDENCE WILL BE SENT TO THE LISTED RIDER OF THE HORSE.

Tentative Ride times will be mailed to the rider and posted on the website at www.dressageonthefirstcoast.com approximately 1 week prior to the show.

CHAMPIONSHIP AWARDS

Great American/USDF Awards: Championship Ribbons (Champion and Reserve) for each level and each division, and third through eighth place ribbons.

Jackets & coolers given to each Championship Level winner.

USDF will pay $250 to each champion and $166 to each reserve champion horse owner. Prize money will be paid directly by the USDF office to the recorded horse owner within 30 days of the end of each event.

Prize money for Great American/USDF Regional Championshipswill be paid directly by the USDF office to the recorded horse owner within 30 days of the last day of each Championship. Prize money will be divided equally for each class with 60%of amount per class to the Champion and 40% to the Reserve Champion.

Dressage Seat Medal - USEF Awards: For each of the age divisions USEF will be providing ribbons through sixth place, and medals & tropies for Champion & Reserve.

AWARDS CEREMONIES ATTENDANCE

Riders placing in Great American/USDF Regional Championship classes must be present, mounted and in full riding attire for award ceremonies. Failure, without prior permission of the competition manager, to be present and properly attired will eliminate the official score and placing, and the next highest score will move up in placing. A tentative Award Cermonies schedule will be posted in the program, followed by detailed P/A announcements.

 

DRESSAGE ON THE FIRST COAST AWARDS

First Place - 1 pair JPC platinum competition full seat breeches. Ribbons to eigth place. Available from the office, as soon as each class is posted on the score board.

All Great American/USDF Qualifying classes are combined with your division class. No separate ribbons or awards will be given for Great American/USDF qualifying entries. Add a “Q” to the class number to indicate Qualifying and add $10.00 for a USDF qualifying fee.

Late Fees

Entries not in secretary's hand on the closing date (Postmarks not valid) will be accepted at the discretion of show management, and if accepted will be assessed a $10 per class late fee.. if the show has filled, they will be put on a waiting list.

Freestyles

USEF DR 1928.9 - Except for USEF/USDF Championship classes and for FEI Pony Riders, FEI Junior and Young Riders Freestyles, in order to enter a freestyles class at any level, a horse and rider combination must have received a minimum score of 58% in the highest test of the declared freestyle level or any test of a higher level at a US Equestrian Federation Recognized Competion. A photocopy of the test verifying eligibility must be submitted with the entry for a freestyle class. BOD 1/19/03 Effective 1/30/03

Music is mandatory. It is the responsibility of the competitor to select the appropriate music for the ride and present to competition management a cassette tape or CD recording to be given to the announcer at least 2 hours prior to the start of the class. DR 1928.6.1
