DRESSAGE
TRAINING and LESSONS
The
object is to try to get your horse to understand what you are asking
him to do.
Dressage is no more than a common-sense way of teaching him to
understand your commands.
Make
it fun for him, too!

Chris
is an Instructor – Trainer specializing in Dressage. She has an extensive
background in both teaching and training, and has had experience in
both the USA and Germany, with all levels of horses, from green to
International Level. |
 |
Chris
has competed successfully up to Grand Prix Level; this experience
is a great asset in the developing of horses, as she realizes how
to train, not just for the short term but for future advancement.
|
 |
The
horse is only part of the training equation, how the rider develops
the correct skills, and use of the Aids is just as important, an unbalanced
rider will only confuse her horse, as the aids can not be given clearly.
|
|
Encouraging
the rider to improve their coordination, balance, and improving communication
with the horse are the goals that she sets for herself. This produces
a rider who understands the priorities of becoming a good rider, and
who has the best interest of their horse in mind. |
